The GEAR UP Educator Development Initiative (GEAR UP EDI) fosters college awareness and readiness for low-income middle and high school students by providing a variety of programs targeted to educators.

Our Partners»Awarded by the U.S. Department of Education, the grant is administered by the Washington Student Achievement Council in partnership with several organizations.
GEAR UP EDI serves 5,700 students in 36 schools and 29 school districts throughout Washington state.
Educator Programs»GEAR UP EDI workshops are designed to encourage dialogue and collaboration among middle, high school, and post-secondary faculty and staff.
