Crystallographer. As a crystallographer, Werner Kaminsky’s research is aimed at the correlation between atomic structure and observed optical properties. He has developed new and innovative optical measurement techniques to collect data on chiroptical properties such as optical rotation, Faraday Effect, circular dichroism, the electro-optic effect, and electrogyration.
