Happy New Year from OMA&D!

Dear Alumni, Colleagues and Friends,

The beginning of a new year – and a new decade – often brings time to reflect on the past and anticipate the future. As we look to the coming year in OMA&D, it gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect on some significant milestones taking place in our organization.

From five years to 50 years, six of our programs or events that support student success are commemorating an anniversary during the 2019-2020 academic year: wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ – Intellectual House (fifth), College Assistance Migrant Program (10th), Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program (20th), OMA&D Rome Study Abroad Program (25th), Health Sciences Center Minority Students Program (40th) and Celebration (50th). We have several campus partners who are recognizing anniversaries as well.

Reflecting on these milestones speaks to the breadth and impact of our work to advance diversity, equity and inclusion. However, the work is not done alone – this is a collective effort. We are grateful for your support and contributions no matter how large or how small.

Together, we can and we will continue to make a difference. Wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2020.

Sincerely,

Rickey Hall
