Overview

Each quarter, the Undergraduate Research Program provides various information sessions, workshops, and Research Exposed - a 1-credit course - to assist students interested in undergraduate research.

Research Exposed! offers an opportunity to learn about current, exciting research in a wide variety of disciplines, including the process of discovery, how faculty come up with an idea for research, how inquiry is structured in the different disciplines, and how students can become involved in the knowledge-making process.

Information Sessions address how the Undergraduate Research Program can help student s pursue their research interests. Information sessions are also provide for our other events and programs, such as the Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium and the UW Amgen Summer Scholars Program.

Workshops are tailored to students who are want to improve their skills or knowledge in certain areas of research like abstract writing, poster design, presentation practice, or human subjects training.
