Task Force on Sexual Assault Prevention and Response

The University of Washington is committed to showing national leadership in tackling the problem of sexual assault on college campuses.

A UW Task Force on Sexual Assault Prevention and Response has compiled 18 prioritized recommendations to address the issue, and funding has been approved for the first set of steps. There will be increased visibility for these efforts throughout the year.

“This will be the year we collectively resolve to end the chronic and abhorrent problem of sexual assault on college campuses, starting with the UW,” University of Washington President Michael K. Young said. “Let us now join together to tackle the problem of sexual assault and show national leadership.”
