Several OMA&D Students Among Inaugural Husky 100

Link to eNews letter Summer 2016In early May, the UW announced the recipients of the inaugural Husky 100 award which recognizes 100 undergraduate and graduate students from the Bothell, Seattle and Tacoma campuses who are making a difference on campus and in their communities.

Several Husky 100 students are affiliated with OMA&D programs, as well as other diversity-related programs, organizations and activities throughout campus. Five of these students – Krittika D’Silva, David Inglish, Solana Rollolazo, Brian Tracey and Ashley Walls – were featured by the UW Daily in their special Husky 100 series. Each story can be found by clicking on the students’ names below.

Applicants were evaluated on how well they have demonstrated a discovery mindset, commitment to inclusive community, capacity for leadership and readiness for success after graduation throughout their Husky Experience.

The group was honored during a special recognition event attended by President Ana Mari Cauce and Interim Provost Jerry Baldasty on May 16.
