Stanley Habib

Stanly HabibMan of Integrity

Stanley Habib is a longtime supporter and advocate of equal educational opportunities, particularly for girls interested in Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math (STEM).

Berthe Habib, his wife of 55 years, has been a grounding influence in his passion to support higher education and focus on STEM-related support for girls.  Together, they offer the University of Washington Stanley and Berthe Habib Endowed Scholarship annually to underrepresented, economically disadvantaged students pursuing degrees in the STEM fields.

Habib humbly recognizes he and his wife are both successful because they had the opportunities of higher education.  He strongly believes that student success is fueled when they have financial and emotional support from an organization thats mission is not only holistic in its services, but also promotes mentoring and goal achievement.

Habib has dedicated his life to STEM and service. After a glorious six months of military service as an Infantry Officer in the Army, Habib went on to practice public accounting for more than 50 years in Seattle and Bellevue. He has served on the Board of the Jewish Family Service, has been involved with the American Institute of CPAs, the Washington Society of CPAs, and the National Association of Accountants.

Habib graduated from Garfield High School in the central area of Seattle. He attended the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and continues to reside in Kirkland, WA.
