Making Connection Coordinator

The UW Women’s Center Making Connections (MC) Program is a college-readiness program for under-served students and their families in the greater Puget Sound area. Making Connections seeks to increase college enrollment and career interests in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields. The MC Coordinator supports efforts to continuously serve program participants in their journey to post-secondary education by keeping them engaged in Making Connections by providing access to tutoring, mentorship, leadership development, and professional enrichment.

Graphic Designer/MarComm Coordinator

The student Graphic Designer/MarComm Coordinator provides design support to the Women’s Center team with hard and digital copy products. They create a wide range of illustrations for posters, brochures, event programs, and web-based content in support of the UW Women’s Center’s programs and services.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to Women’s Center team, as well as assisting with various programs and services.

Lifelong Learning Coordinator

The Lifelong Learning program supports students in preparation for entering undergraduate and/or graduate programs, by proving low cost year-round GRE and SAT prep courses. The Lifelong learning Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the program, including marketing upcoming courses, updating the website, working with instructors to schedule courses, and conducting evaluations.

Making Connections - Tutor

MC Program is always looking for passionate, dedicated and inspired people to teach others. The minimum requirement is that you are proficient in any of the areas listed above, are available for 1-2 sessions per week and of course have an interest in teaching others.
