Starting July 15, 2026, all UW students can use Purple, UW’s generative AI tool designed to help you learn, create and explore new ideas in a secure, University-managed environment.
Purple is available for you to try whenever it’s helpful, whether you’re brainstorming, organizing notes, generating practice questions or working through complex concepts.
