All students must be vaccinated, or receive an approved exemption, for measles, mumps and (if under 22 years old) meningitis ACWY.
- Measles and mumps immunization: All students must submit proof of two measles and mumps vaccinations, two MMR vaccinations or lab evidence of positive titer.
- Meningitis ACWY immunization: All students under age 22 must submit proof of a conjugate meningitis ACWY vaccination given at age 16 or older.
Starting with summer quarter 2023, the COVID-19 vaccine is no longer required for most students. Staying up to date on COVID-19 vaccination remains strongly encouraged and is an important public health measure to reduce the risk of disease transmission and severe illness. Please follow the University’s COVID-19 Public Health Flowchart if you develop symptoms, test positive or are exposed to COVID-19. See the immunization website for more details.
Health sciences students participating in the Health Sciences Immunization Program are not affected by this policy change and will continue to follow all vaccination requirements communicated by HSIP program staff.
