University of Washington undergraduates receive about $400 million in financial aid per year. Over 60% of our undergraduate students receive some form of financial aid. We know that many families are concerned about their ability to pay for college.

In order to use the net price calculator, you will need to have some information available from your parents’ and your most recent tax returns.

If you do not know your expected family contribution (EFC), by answering a series of questions using information from you and your parents’ latest tax return, your EFC will be calculated. By using this calculator, you are NOT applying for aid. If you prefer a more detailed EFC calculation, you may use the Federal Student Aid Estimator.

If you have completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and know your estimated family contribution (EFC), you can proceed to the Net price calculator.  The Net price calculator is currently based on 2022-23 information.
