2021-2022 Financial Aid Applications Now Available

What you need to know

  1. Submit your FAFSA: You can file your 2021-22 FAFSA beginning October 1, 2020.
  2. UW’s priority filing date: The UW’s priority date for filing the FAFSA is January 15, 2021.  Your 2021-22 FAFSA should be received by the federal processor no later than January 15, 2021 for priority consideration of all of our aid programs.
  3. Use 2019 income and tax information: The FAFSA will ask for the last completed tax year – 2019 – for 2021-22.  Whenever possible, use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to import your and your parent’s income information directly from the IRS into the FAFSA. It’s easier to complete the FAFSA this way and results in a more accurate financial aid award.
