Taking post-secondary education entrance exams can cause anxiety and have a lasting influence on a student’s future. We believe every student deserves an opportunity to succeed when entering undergraduate and/or graduate programs, regardless of their financial circumstances. For this reason, we offer year-round, low-cost SAT and GRE courses that address many common concerns, such as math anxiety and study skills in addition to test content.

SAT Prep classes

The SAT is a standardized test widely required by colleges and universities to assess an applicant’s potential for success. In today’s competitive atmosphere, you should not go into this test unprepared.

The goal of the SAT course is to prepare you for the SAT by reducing your anxiety, increasing confidence in your abilities, and arming you with practical and proven strategies. The SAT is a standardized test that becomes easier and more predictable with practice, preparation, and keen strategy. You will get to know the test from top to bottom, how it is scored, sectioned, timed, and designed. The focus will be on strategies that work, and you will get the chance to practice these strategies.

Registration closes one week before classes start.

GRE Prep Course

Our Graduate Record Examinations prep course offers a comprehensive introduction to the GRE. It provides an overview of the exam, covering its overall structure, the types of questions that students will encounter, the testing environment, and available tools. A substantial portion of the course is dedicated to providing students with means for maximizing their GRE scores; heavy focus is given to the academic content of the exam, methods for studying efficiently, and techniques that help to increase scores by taking advantage of the GRE’s design. Each of the various techniques is explained and reinforced by use in example.

For the GRE prep classes: We recommend purchasing the Princeton Review Cracking the GRE 2020 textbook to aid your GRE test prep.  The book includes 4 practice tests and we strongly encourage you to take a practice exam prior to your first class.
