Public hearing notice: Parking and traffic rules of the UW

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2019, at the University of Washington Police Department Conference Room located at 3939 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98105.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to present their views, either orally or in writing, on the proposed amendments to Chapter 478-116 WAC, “Parking and Traffic Rules of the University of Washington, Seattle.”

The UW is updating terminology regarding current modes of transportation and advancement in parking technology at the Seattle campus. The information in the WAC has also been updated to reflect current practices regarding parking and parking related items.

Persons wishing to provide written comment may submit their remarks via email to rules@uw.edu, by the end of business on April 19, 2019.
