Public hearing notice: Parking and traffic rules of UW Tacoma

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019, at the Columbia Bank Lobby, William W. Philip Hall 1st Floor, 1918 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98402.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to present their views, either orally or in writing, on the proposed amendments to Chapter 478-118, “Parking and Traffic Rules of the University of Washington, Tacoma.”

The University of Washington, Tacoma is updating terminology regarding current modes of transportation (i.e. electric assist bicycles and scooters) traveling to/from and through campus. The information in this WAC has also been updated to reflect current practices regarding carpool and disability parking, display of permits, crosswalk markings, fines and impoundment, and appeals related to the latter.
