Accessible templates

The UMAC Web Strategy team provides an accessible WordPress theme to the campus community to use for their websites. As many projects don’t use WordPress and need appropriately branded and accessible templates, we’ve made the templates from our WordPress theme available to leverage more broadly.

Below is a downloadable zip file containing our themed templates and corresponding assets that you can add to any project.

Download the accessible templates zip file

Using the templates

  1. Download the zipfile and unzip it to a convenient location.
  2. In the root folder, you will see an index.html page, open that page to see a list of the included templates and template parts (header, footer, banners, etc.).
  3. Included in the root are several “helper” files such as manifests, favicons, etc. The “assets” folder contains all of the necessary CSS, JS, and images that are needed to start working with the templates.

Templates are Bootstrap ready

The templates can take full advantage of our Bootstrap-enabled CSS. For more information, including code examples, please see our Bootstrap Library.
