Increasing Access to Computing and Information Technology by Conducting a Capacity Building Institute (CBI) on Your Campus
Capacity building institutes (CBIs) bring people together to collaboratively identify solutions to specific problems. Participants may come from across disciplines, departments, and/or institutions. The Disabilities, Opportunities, Internetworking, and Technology (DO-IT) Center at the University of Washington has hosted CBIs with multiple stakeholder groups to explore problems and solutions regarding the success of individuals with disabilities in college and careers.
