In this lesson, you'll see how to add UW Sub-Object code, location, quantity and price information for other contractual services.
To Add (03) Other Contractual Service costs
1. Click the (03) Other Contractual Services name on the worksheet then click the Add Contractual Services button.
SAGE displays the Setup page for the new contractual service.
It also displays the Description the Sub-Object Code, and Location fields populated with default values. Here, it’s New Other Contractual Service and (00) MISC and On Campus respectively.
2. Enter a description of the service to be provided and select the appropriate sub-object code and location for the service. Here the budget includes Hospital Lab Testing on campus (03-28).
Here is a partial list of the other sub-object codes for contractual services.
For a complete list of UW Sub-Object Codes, click the F & A tab on the worksheet then click the Show read-only F&A object codes at the bottom of the page or click Sub Object Codes
3. Click the First Period button.
SAGE displays Period 1 item detail page
with the Quantity and Price fields set to default values.
Fill the quantity and price information for the service. In this example, it’s 30 tests at $35 each.
4. At this point you can click one of these four options:
|
|
Click the Save button and SAGE saves the data but leaves the Setup page open. |
|
|
Click the Save and Close button and SAGE saves your data, closes the setup page and displays the worksheet. |
|
|
Click the Line Setup link and SAGE saves your data and displays a new Setup page where you can add another service contract for the first period of the project. |
|
|
Click the Next Period button and SAGE displays the next period detail page where you can extend or modify the contract. That is, costs for (03) Other Contractual Services do not automatically carry forward to the next period. |
If you click the Save button, SAGE calculates the total cost of the service and displays it at the bottom of the page.
If you click the Save and Close button, SAGE closes the page and displays the worksheet.
