The Office of the Vice Provost for Global Affairs is charged with providing nimble, strategic coordination of the UW's efforts to globalize research, education, and engagement. It brings leadership, strategic coordination and innovation to the University of Washington's mission to educate global citizens and future leaders through a challenging and inclusive learning environment informed by cutting-edge scholarship.

Building upon over a century of global engagement in research and education, the Office of Global Affairs seeks to enhance institutional frameworks and identify new focused initiatives that will support even greater involvement with our Washington State, national and global communities reflecting the realities of the 21st century higher integrated world.
