FLAS Awards
FLAS fellowships are awarded for language and area studies relating to Canada, East Asia, the Middle East, Russia, East Europe and Central Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and West Europe. The fellowships are administered by Jackson School for International Studies. FLAS awards are aimed at educating students about specific areas of the world and less taught languages. Awards pay up to $11, 500 for tuition and include most fees. Summer FLAS fellowships are awarded to support intensive language study.
