ChatGPT Edu is now available on UWare

Title: Artificial Intelligence

This service can help with tasks such as drafting content, summarizing text, answering questions, generating images and supporting workflows. The UW provides access to ChatGPT-5 through UWare, aligning with University data governance standards. University data is securely stored and not used for model training. Learn how to get started.

Peak bloom predictions are in for UW’s cherry trees

Each spring, large crowds gather on the University of Washington Quad to admire 29 puffy pink cherry trees making their seasonal debut. This year, estimates suggest that they will reach “peak bloom” on March 20. Peak bloom occurs when 70% of the blossoms have opened, but the week before and after still offer visitors an optimal viewing experience.
