Alene Moris Women’s Center

Educating for Life & for Leadership

The UW Alene Moris Women’s Center is a place and catalyst for collective change, forging both belonging and resilience on and off campus. We are a community of different people all coming and working together from different departments and different pasts here at the University of Washington. Together, we offer up a transformational and supportive set of educational programming, leadership development, as well as a variety of different workshops, services, and events. The goal, for us, is to help catalyze collective change by creating, cultivating, and then sustaining workshops, services, and events that all allow for the individuals involved to better grow, blossom, and bloom. Lastly, the UW Women's Center is open, welcoming, and available to all interested students, staff, faculty, and community members.

Leadership Development

We provide access to resources and opportunities for anyone interested in being a catalyst for change. We are especially invested in those who are thinking about what resilience and belonging look like in the context of a changing community.
