Suggested messaging for first reminder, week of 4/22

By now, you’ve likely heard about the UW’s campus climate survey underway through May 22. I’m writing to our community in the hopes that each one of you will take 20–30 minutes to participate.

To do our best work in serving the public good, our [department/unit/etc.] must be a place where all who study, work and teach can succeed and thrive. Each person’s feedback helps us better understand what we’re doing well and where we need to improve. Your survey responses will make a real difference.

After results go live later this year, we’ll begin to develop an action plan that advances our shared goal of creating a stronger, more welcoming [dept.] and University. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact [yourvoice@uw.edu]. Thank you for your time and for working with us to make the UW a better place for everyone.

To take the survey, visit yourvoiceyouruw.org.

Suggested messaging for second reminder, week of 5/12

The UW climate survey will close next week (May 22). If you haven’t taken it yet, now’s the time. The greater the response, the more it helps the UW understand how to improve the climate on our campuses for everyone. The survey takes about 20–30 minutes to complete.

Visit yourvoiceyouruw.org to take the survey, and please encourage other UW students or employees to do the same, to join us in making the UW a better place.
