MLK Week 2020 video

Sovechea Sophanna

The University of Washington’s MLK Week was organized to remind us of the history and the fight that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and many other lives have put up for freedom and equality. The events of the University of Washington’s MLK Week allowed us to reflect and continue to fight for a dream that is still unfolding.

Let us come together to cherish one another, come together to love one another and come together to serve one another in the communities we call home. For “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” —Martin Luther
