Official notice: Rule-making hearing for Chapters 478-116 and 478-161 WACs

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 via a Zoom conference meeting. The details of the hearing are available on the University Policy and Rules Office website.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to provide input, either orally or in writing, on the proposed amendments to Chapter 478-116 of the Washington Administrative Code, “Parking and traffic rules of the University of Washington, Seattle;” repeal of current chapter 478-160 of the WAC, “Admission and registration procedures for the University of Washington;” and creation of a new chapter 478-161 of the WAC, “Student Enrollment for the University of Washington.”

The University is proposing these changes to the rules to keep the university’s information accurate, up-to-date and sustainable. This is part of a comprehensive effort to update policy and information across the WAC, UW Policy and websites.

Advance copies of the proposed WAC rules may be obtained by contacting the University Policy and Rules Office by email at rules@uw.edu.  Or, you can see the proposed changes published in the Washington State Register (WSR) 2021 issue 21-07.
