Holiday sale at the Arboretum Dec. 11, 12
The Arboretum Foundation’s holiday sale, Gifts & Greens Galore, returns to the Graham Visitors Center at the Washington Park Arboretum on Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale offers a wonderful selection of holiday decorations, including wreaths, swags, and fresh-cut greens. Its also a showcase for the Arboretum Shop, which features an excellent selection of gardening and nature books, plant-themed jewelry, natural body products, tools for green thumbs, and much more.
At this years Gifts & Greens Galore, youll also find:
- Live seasonal music, by harpist Patricia Yaeger (11 a.m. to 1 p.m., both days)
- Free hot cider, coffee, and tea
- Michael Michaud Silver Season botanical jewelry trunk show
- Handmade bird-seed balls
- Handcrafted holiday cards
As a special treat at this years Sunday sale, the Evergreen As will present a vintage car show and offer visitors free Model A rides along Arboretum Drive. Plus, kids can enjoy free holiday-themed activities hosted by the UW Botanic Gardens education staff.
