Workday Recruiting

Apply now with Workday Recruiting

As of August 18, all UW staff jobs use Workday Recruiting. This new system helps you apply and track your job applications more easily.

Here’s what’s new:

  • All external applicants create a Workday Recruiting account.
  • All UW employees apply through the Jobs Hub in Workday.
  • If you applied for a job before August 11 that is still open, you should receive an email by 5 p.m. on August 20 from uwhires@uw.edu with the subject line: Create your account in UW’s new job application system. If after August 20 you have not yet received an email, or you accidentally deleted the email before creating your new Workday Recruiting account, please contact hrhelp@uw.edu for assistance.
  • Your application history has reset, meaning you will not see previous jobs you applied for in the old system (UWHIRES) that are no longer open.

No. UW is not able to provide applicant records from UWHIRES. Going forward, any applications you submit will be stored in our new Workday Recruiting system.

Not at this time. Keyword searches will scan both the job title and the job description, which may pull in broader results. Improving search functionality is a priority for the next phase of the project as we refine the applicant experience.

Please contact disclosure@uw.edu for questions about the sexual misconduct disclosure form or process.
