As expected, the House Labor-HHS-Education Appropriations Subcommittee took and cleared yesterday afternoon its FY2020 bill. The legislation, which was adopted by voice vote, includes $189.8 billion in spending. Amendments to the bill will be considered during full committee markup, which is tentatively scheduled for next week.
