Student Life offers a wide range of programs and services that support students in their transition to the University, deepening their experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

Any Hungry Husky

Addresses food insecurity on campus, including providing food assistance to members of the UW community and managing the UW Food Pantry

Career & Internship Center

Provides career and job search services to UW students and alumni; supports the exploration of career and academic options and development of job search skills; and facilitates connections between employers and students that lead to successful and satisfying futures

Ceremonies

Produces the Freshman Convocation and the University of Washington Commencement

CIRCLE (Center for International Relations & Cultural Leadership Exchange)

Provides programming, support, and cross-cultural engagement opportunities for international and domestic students

Community Standards & Student Conduct

Fosters a developmental approach to student conduct, provides support and guidance to the UW community, and promotes the values and expectations of the UW

Counseling Center

Staffed by psychologists and mental health counselors who provide developmentally-based counseling, assessment, and crisis intervention services to currently-enrolled UW students

Disability Resources for Students

Strives to support the inclusion of students with disabilities as independent, responsible and productive members of the campus community

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Serves as the principal contact in coordinating individual Recognition Agreements between the UW and the sororities and fraternities associated with the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Councils

Hall Health Center

Provides exceptional medical and mental health care on campus to our diverse student body as well as established non-student patients

Housing & Food Services

Provides safe, sustainable and convenient on-campus housing options for students in all stages of their college experience; offers a variety of dining options, catering and conference services, and manages the Husky Card

The HUB

The student union at the Seattle campus of the UW welcomes more than two million students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests each year. It also hosts events and houses the programs and services of student government, the Student Activities Office, and a wide variety of dining, meeting and conference spaces.

LiveWell

Provides tools and resources to help students access and develop a sense of self; also helps students who may need a higher level of support and more individualized attention

Parent & Family Programs

Helps parents and families of UW students stay connected to the University so they may support their students’ success

Q Center

Facilitates and enhances a brave, affirming, liberatory and celebratory environment for students, faculty, staff and alumni of all sexual and gender orientation, identities and expressions

Recreation

Offers safe, accessible, and dynamic recreation, sports, and fitness opportunities to UW students, faculty, and staff, at every level of interest and ability

Student Life Advancement

Raises money for student scholarships, programs and services; stewards gifts and donors; facilitates philanthropy among students

Student Publications (The Daily)

Provides fiscal and administrative assistance to The Daily, the independent student newspaper for the UW community

Student Veteran Life

Founded by student veterans, Student Veteran Life provides programs, services, and community for student veterans and active duty service members attending the University.
