Husky Giving Day 2026
A Bellevue family has put up a $25,000 challenge gift â because they believe what you believe.
When 25 families give before April 23, the first $5,000 unlocks for students. On Husky Giving Day, an additional $20,000 will be unlocked â until the challenge runs out.

Over 6,000 students fueled annually across four campus locations. Your gift provides free snacks and support during finals weekâmeeting students where they are at the heart of health, wellness, academic support, and student activities. Locations include the HUB, Husky Health Center, Mary Gates Hall, and Red Square.
Family Programs & Traditions
From Summer Sendoffs to Move-In Lounges to UW Family Weekend, your gift to the Purple & Gold Forever Endowed Fund ensures all students and families can participate in cherished UW traditionsâfostering connection, belonging, and community pride for generations to come.
24/7 access to mental health services for all Huskies
A student’s mental well-being can greatly impact their academic performance, their ability to persist in their education, and the quality of their Husky Experience. Your gift to the UW Parent & Family Fund helps us provide students access to immediate, confidential mental wellness conversations and crisis intervention support, 24 hours a day/7 days a week by phone and online chat.
Student Safety Resources
The Safety Resources began with a generous gift by a Husky family in 2017. Your gift to the UW Parent & Family Fund helps us continue to provide safety services to our students within the campus locations and the residential area north of 45th St., and to the UW Tower, and meet our growing safety needs.
Student Emergency Fund
Unexpected events and expenses are stressful and impact a student’s academic success, personal well-being and sometimes their ability to remain at the UW. Your gift to the UW Parent & Family Fund helps fund modest grants of emergency aid to students with significant financial need who are experiencing unexpected hardships that disrupt their education or prevent them from earning their degree.
Career & Major Readiness
Students can discover their purpose and connect it to college and careers. Students can take assessments to gain insights into their interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences.
