What is there to do on Sunday?

Sunday is your day to explore campus or Seattle on your own, and to travel home.

UW Family Tailgate and football game

What time is the football game? What time is the UW Family Tailgate?

The official game kickoff time is 12:30 p.m.

The UW Family Tailgate begins three hours before kickoff and ends 30 minutes before kickoff.

  • 9:30 a.m.: Doors open. No reentry. No outside alcohol.
  • 10:30 a.m.: Stage program with remarks from UW leadership and special appearances by Dubs, the Husky Marching Band and UW Spirit.
  • Noon: Tailgate concludes.

Where do I pick up my UW Family Tailgate tickets?

Pick up your Tailgate entry wristbands at any time during Family Weekend Check-in Lounge hours at the HUB Lyceum — or check in at the tailgate entrance at Recreation Field #1 on Saturday, three hours before kickoff.

How do I purchase tickets to the football game?

Discounted UW Family Weekend football tickets can be purchased through FEVO.

Will I be able to sit with my student if they have Dawg Pack (student section) tickets?

Students with Dawg Pack tickets can sit within the student section at Husky Stadium. If you would like to have your student sit with you during the game, we suggest that you purchase a ticket for your student in your chosen section.

Where do I pick up the Family Weekend scarf that I get for purchasing discounted Parent & Family Programs football game tickets?

If you also purchased tickets to the UW Family Tailgate, scarves will be distributed inside the tailgate footprint.

If you are not attending the UW Family Tailgate, pick up your scarf at The Zone, located at the east end of the stadium closest to Lake Washington. The Zone is located inside Husky Stadium.

PLEASE NOTE: Husky Stadium has a no reentry policy. Please plan your scarf pick up on your way into the stadium for the game. Scarves will be available through halftime, or while supplies last.

Weather

Come rain or shine, UW Family Weekend and the UW Family Tailgate will be a great time. We recommend being prepared by packing your rain gear.
