Dan Jaffe is an expert on the chemistry, occurrence and transport of wildfire smoke. He studies global transport of pollutants, especially from Asia to the United States as well as atmospheric chemistry, ozone photochemistry, urban and regional smog, and long-range transport of pollutants. Jaffe is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed publications on ozone, aerosols, mercury, and other air pollutants.
