In keeping with the mission of the Office of the Compliance and Risk Services, we strive to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and promote the integrity of UW as a center of excellence.
In order to accomplish this, each employee at the UW Healthcare Compliance Group (HCCG) is required to complete general compliance requirements that include HIPAA compliance training, and any Ad Hoc training to meet regulatory and/or policy requirements.
The designated privacy liaison from each HCCG unit should contact UW Medicine Compliance or the Privacy and Compliance Program Manager for any assistance with training.
The Compliance Learning Portal (CLP) is a learning management system for use by University of Washington and UW Medicine workforce members who do not have an active account in the UW Medicine Learning Hub and whose job/role requires completion of healthcare compliance training.
