Washington Transfer Partnerships (WTP) brings two-year and four-year institutions together in teams of faculty, staff, and student members who work side by side to remove barriers for transfer students. Student team members bring firsthand transfer experience to every team. Building on the success of the STEM Transfer Partnerships, the initiative now extends this model to non-STEM pathways. Explore each cohort below.

Non-STEM Cohort
Funded by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) and coordinated with the SBCTC Student Success Center, five new partnership teams apply the STEM Transfer Partnerships model to non-STEM transfer pathways in education, business, social sciences, and languages.

STEM Cohort
Funded by Ascendium Education Group, nine two-year and four-year institutional teams, now in their second phase, work to remove barriers and improve bachelor’s degree completion for low-income STEM transfer students.
