Looking at the future of global leadership

Undergraduate Academic Affairs

Students in the Global Leadership Fellows Program grow as leaders, understand new perspectives on leadership, and prepare themselves to create change–potentially on a global scale.

Launched by Waseda University in Tokyo, Global Leadership Fellows from Waseda and U.S. partner institutions study together for two years, learning across cultures and developing their leadership philosophies and principles. The intensive program and broad span of time gives students the opportunity to develop and deepen global relationships that could last a lifetime.

This video features students from the first cohort of students selected for this competitive program as well as students in the second cohort before they came to the UW.
