Parking Options for Commencement

CenturyLink Parking – Prepaid

Pre-paid permits for parking lots at or near CenturyLink can be purchased online through International Parking Management (IPM). The link will also be sent to students once they complete the Registration/Order Form (May 6 – May 26). A special link will be sent to graduates who need to order disability parking. IPM has informed us that presold parking rates will be $20 at or near CenturyLink Field and in the North Parking Lot.

Pre-purchasing parking guarantees you parking on Commencement Day. Day-of (non-prepaid) parking cannot be guaranteed and may cost $25 or more.

CenturyLink Parking – On Commencement Day

Parking in lots that have not been pre-sold will be available on Commencement Day. Follow the signs to available lots and pay the attendant staffing the lot. Some lots may take credit and debit cards, others may take cash only. Day of (non-prepaid) parking cannot be guaranteed and may cost $25 or more.

Park on campus and take Metro bus to CenturyLink

Graduates and their guests may want to park on campus and ride Metro express buses ( 7172, or 73 ) to CenturyLink Field and back. Pre-paid on-campus parking is available for $14 through the online Registration Order Form. Day of event parking will be at higher rates. Metro has agreed to extend U-PASS coverage to include Commencement Day. Campus parking permits are purchased when graduates fill out the Registration/Order Form, May 6 – May 26.  Once purchased no refunds will be available for on-campus parking.

Campus lots will be staffed on Commencement Day and Metro is adding additional buses to accommodate the expected increase in riders. Passengers should come prepared to pay bus fare.

Express buses will run from University Way NE or Campus Parkway to 5th and Jackson (in the tunnel) downtown, approximately two blocks from the stadium. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes.

Disability Parking at CenturyLink

Disability parking will be available in the lot directly north of CenturyLink. When graduates complete the Registration/Order Form their receipt page will display a link and special code for pre-purchasing disability parking through IPM ($20 per parking permit). They will also be sent an email containing this same information. Day-of (non-prepaid) parking cannot be guaranteed and may cost $25 or more.
