Commencement Day Parking
Travel and Parking at CenturyLink Field.
Option #1: CenturyLink/Metro Express Parking. A package including Commencement Day parking in the Tower Garage 12th Ave. NE & NE 45th St.) or the Portage Bay Garage (Brooklyn Ave. NE & NE Pacific St.) plus tworoundtrip tickets on the 71, 72, or 73 Express buses (click on the numbers for bus schedules) will be offered to those who complete the Registration/Order Form. The cost will be $14. Those who purchase this package can add up to 4 more roundtrip tickets for $4.50 each. Metro will honor U-PASSes on these routes on Commencement Day.
Express buses will run from University Way NE or Campus Parkway to 5th and Jackson (in the tunnel) downtown, approximately two blocks from the stadium. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes.
Option #2a: Park on campus in the Central Plaza or N1/N5 lots and take the 71, 72, or 73 Express buses from University Way NE or Campus Parkway to 5th and Jackson downtown, approximately two blocks from the stadium.
Option #2b (from the East or South): Park at one of Metro's Park N Ride lots and take the bus. Here are the options from the east or the south:
From the South:
South Renton Park N Ride – S Grady Way & Shattuck Ave N (205 S 7th St),373 parking spaces
Take the KC Metro 101 to International District stop (Tunnel)
SeaTac Airport – (hourly Parking rate)
Take Link Light Rail to Stadium Station
From the East:
Eastgate Park N Ride – SE Eastgate Way & 141st Ave (14200 SE Eastgate Way),1614 Parking Spaces.

Take ST 554 to 5th & Jackson
South Bellevue Park N Ride – Bellevue Way SE & 112th Ave SE (2700 Bellevue Way SE),519 parking spaces
Take ST 550 to International District stop( Tunnel)
Option #3: Park near CenturyLink Field. When students complete the Registration/Order Form they will be sent a link and code to obtain guaranteed pre-paid parking permits ($20) for CenturyLink Field. Special disability parking options will be available. This will be the only guaranteed parking. Due to a Mariners game that day, parking surrounding CenturyLink Field will be very limited. Day-of (non-prepaid) parking cannot be guaranteed and may cost $25 or more.

Disability Drop-Off
There will be a special disability drop-off location just west of CenturyLink Field on Railroad Way. Guests with disabilities can be dropped off here, but there is no parking at this location. Please note that this location will be closed for approximately 30-45 minutes following the ceremony to allow traffic to dissipate. It will then be possible to pick up disabled guests at this location.
Other parking lots near CenturyLink Field – The University of Washington is not affiliated with any of the parking companies or garages listed below. This list is provided as a convenience and is subject to change. Since there is also a Mariner's game that day, we can only guarantee available parking for those who purchase pre-paid parking permits (see option #3 above). The University of Washington is also not responsible for your vehicle or personal belongings when parking at any of the following garages or lots.

Other Commencement Transportation Options
A. Central Link Light Rail (Sound Transit)
- On weekends, Link Light Rail trains runs every 10 minutes between 8am and 10pm from the Airport to the stadium (9 stops) and north of the stadium to Westlake (4 stops). There is parking at the Tukwila International Blvd station.
- 2 stations are close to CenturyLink Field – The International District/Chinatown at 5th Avenue South and South Jackson; and the Stadium Station at 5th Avenue South and Royal Brougham Way
- Cost for adult passengers is up to $2.75 each way depending on how far you travel

B. Regional Sound Transit Bus Service
- Sound Transit buses run from as far south as Tacoma to downtown Seattle and as far north as Everett to downtown Seattle. Bus routes that serve downtown Seattle and stop near CenturyLink Field include: 510, 511, 522, 545, 550, 554, 577, 578, 594
- Cost for passengers is up to $3.50 each way depending upon how far you travel

Parking for School, College, and Departmental Ceremonies
Parking for School, College, and Departmental ceremonies will be $14, and will be available on a first-come, first served basis through the Registration/Order Form.
- In order to fairly distribute parking spaces, each student will be limited to a reasonable number of parking permits for the particular event he/she is attending.
- Parking permits for School, College, and departmental graduation events occurring on campus will be by day - i.e., the parking permit will be good for designated lots anywhere on campus for the day shown on the permit.
- Once purchased no refunds will be available for parking permits.
- Permits will be picked up when students pick up their orders at the University Book Store (May 22 through June 2, during normal Book Store hours. (Bachelors only May 22 - 26.) Students may pick up additional permits (if available) at this time. Depending upon availability, it may be possible to exchange one parking permit for a permit on a different day or in a different lot.
Disability Parking for School, College, and Departmental Ceremonies
Parking permits for School, College, or departmental graduation events occurring on campus are also good for disability parking. Simply stop at one of the gatehouses when you arrive on campus, show the attendant your parking permit for that day, and tell the attendant that you need disability parking for the event you are attending. They will direct you to disability parking for that event.
