Candidates who meet the below eligibility requirements may participate in the Commencement Ceremony at CenturyLink Field on June 15, 2013.
Bachelor Candidates
Students who earned a degree in Summer 2012, Autumn 2012, or Winter 2013, or have applied to graduate with a departmental advisor for Spring 2013 or Summer 2013 are eligible. Once the application for graduation has been completed and received by the Office of Graduation and Academic Records (206-543-1803), the student will then be eligible to complete the Commencement Registration/Order Form.
Master’s and Doctoral Candidates
Graduates who earned their degrees in Summer 2012, Autumn 2012, or Winter 2013, or candidates who have a reasonable expectation of graduating in Spring 2013 or Summer 2013 are eligible to participate.
Professional Candidates
Candidates for J.D., M.D., D.D.S., and Pharm D. Degrees who earned degrees in Summer 2012, Autumn 2012, Winter 2013 or are candidates for Spring or Summer 2013 are eligible to participate. These students are honored in separate ceremonies, as well as during the main ceremony.
Names Listed in the Program
The Commencement program lists the names of graduates from Summer 2012 through Spring 2013. Summer 2013 graduates’ names will be listed in the following year’s program. If you have not graduated or submitted your application to graduate, you must do the following by April 19th to be included in the program:
- Bachelor’s – Submit application to graduate to the Office of Graduation and Academic Records. (See your advisor.)
- Master’s – Submit your online master’s degree request.
- Doctoral - Schedule Final Exam.
