March 8, 2012: Provost Ana Mari Cauce announced that Joel Berg, professor of pediatric dentistry in the University of Washington School of Dentistry, has been selected as the school’s next dean, effective August 15, 2012.

President Michael K. Young appointed Ana Mari Cauce to be the next provost of the University of Washington, effective January 2, 2012.
Chancellorship of the University of Washington, Tacoma
Interim UW President Phyllis Wise has announced the selection of Debra Friedman as chancellor for the University of Washington Tacoma, effective July 1. The appointment is subject to approval of the UW Board of Regents.
