Authority of the Provost
Except as provided in Section 2 below, the Provost or or
his or her designee is authorized to act for the President of the University
regarding the powers and duties delegated to the President in the Board of
Regents Standing Orders, Chapter 1,
Section 4 including the execution of grant and contract awards for
research, development, service, and training, and agreements, assignments,
and other documents necessary for the implementation of the University's
Patent, Invention, and Copyright Policy (Executive Order No. 36)
and Technology Transfer policy (Administrative Policy Statement 59.4).

Authority of the Senior Vice President
for Finance and Facilities
The Senior Vice President for Finance and Facilities or his or her designee is
authorized to act for the President of the University regarding:

Negotiation of indirect cost recovery rates; and
|
| |
B. |
Negotiation and resolution of audit disputes or other prior
contract-related disputes. |
