Mourning Daniel J. Evans, former governor and UW alumnus

Daniel Jackson Evans, ’48, ’49, a tireless champion of higher education, human rights and the environment recently passed away at age 98. The former governor, senator, UW regent and public servant is memorialized in his namesake, the Daniel J. Evans School of Public Policy & Governance.
