Population Health

Student groups and programs

Image of a students working on laptopsThe University of Washington has a couple of student groups and programs that focus on the population health-related use of technology. These are:

  • Dubstech – A UW tech community aimed at helping students learn about tech and grow their tech presence. The group organizes tech-themed workshops, competitions and talks.
  • Change – A cross campus collaboration to develop technology in the context of positive social change.
  • Holloman Health Innovation Challenge – Annual competition that enables students to form teams and obtain funding to develop solutions (including mobile and digital tools) to health problems.
