Ten new members named to Population Health Initiative executive council

Image of W at entrance to campusTen new members have been named to the 30-member Population Health Initiative executive council by President Ana Mari Cauce. These individuals, who will begin their terms in autumn quarter 2022, are:

  • Jody Early, professor of Nursing and Health Studies, UW Bothell
  • Beatrice Gandara, clinical associate professor of Oral Medicine, School of Dentistry
  • Nancy Hertzog, professor of Learning Sciences and Human Development, College of Education
  • Soo-Hyung Kim, professor of Environmental and Forest Sciences, College of the Environment
  • Karin Martin, assistant professor, Evans School of Public Policy & Governance
  • Jennifer Romich, professor, School of Social Work
  • Mustapha Sametah, undergraduate student representative, College of Arts & Sciences
  • Monica Vavilala, professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and Pediatrics, School of Medicine
  • Maxine Wright, graduate student representative, College of Arts & Sciences
  • Tamara Michel Josserand, vice president for Development, University Advancement (ex officio)

These individuals succeed 10 members who left the council as part of its annual rotation.
