Initiative launches COVID-19 population health equity research grant program

The Population Health Initiative today announced the launch of a new COVID-19 population health equity research grant program.

Awards of up to $20,000 each are available to support University of Washington researchers in partnering with communities of color – which are being disproportionately impacted by the pandemic – to develop COVID-19 research projects that address community-identified needs.

The period of performance for these awards is five months (i.e., September 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021).

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, July 31, 2020.
