Image of a student setting a mosquito trap for a disease studyThe Population Health Initiative seeks to create a world where all people can live healthier and more fulfilling lives.

In support of that vision, the initiative is pleased to announce its 2020 funding call for population health pilot research grants of up to $50,000 each. Applications for this round of funding are due on Friday, January 31, 2020.

These grants are intended to encourage the development of new interdisciplinary collaborations among investigators for projects that address critical components of grand challenges the University of Washington seeks to address in population health. Faculty members and PI-eligible research scientists from all three UW campuses (Bothell, Seattle, Tacoma) are encouraged to apply.

The initiative will fund at least five awards in this round of applications.
