Expertise: Modeling tsunamis and other geohazards in the Pacific Northwest
Randy LeVeque develops software for modeling wave propagation, and recently has focused on modeling tsunamis and related geohazards. He also works on probabilistic hazard assessment and issues related to tsunami warning and forecasting. He has worked on many hazard assessment projects for coastal regions around the state of Washington.
