UW News does not use generative artificial intelligence to create or edit its stories, videos or images. Those are all the work of their authors. If we include AI generated material in a story for editorial purposes, such as an example of an AI generated image being discussed, that material is clearly marked. We may use AI tools for tasks such as transcription, proofreading, research or code completion.
