The next presentation in the series on “Things Your Mother Never Taught You” will be on “Funding to Aid in Academic Collaboration with Small Business.”
The program, open to everyone, is from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, in room T-739 of the Health Sciences Center. Laura Dorsey, technology manager at the Washington Technology Center, will talk about grant funding opportunities that support technology development, applied research and other aspects of industry-academic collaboration. Among the possibilities are a grant program of the Washington Technology Center and the federal government’s Small Business Technology program.
