UW graduate and professional disciplines have strong showing on US News’ Best Graduate Schools rankings

The University of Washington and the University of Tsukuba in Japan have entered an innovation partnership with NVIDIA and Amazon aimed at furthering research, training and entrepreneurship in artificial intelligence. The partnership is part of a broad, $110 million effort to build upon the strong ties between the U.S. and Japan and to support the two countries' leadership in artificial intelligence.

The UW's RIDE program trains dentists to treat patients from rural and underserved communities. More than 80% of graduates go on to work in dental offices in small towns and communities. RIDE students study dentistry in Spokane and Seattle, as well as hands-on training in clinics in rural towns across Washington.
