U District celebrated community with Alley Lights

Alley-Lights-crowdSeveral hundred people came out for the Alley Lights event that took place on December 6th. Visitors strolled through the alley between NE 45th & NE 41st to see glowing art installations and special exhibits, and enjoyed live music and holiday treats along the way.

Sponsored by the U District Partnership and the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, the event was an opportunity to celebrate the people who make the U District a great place to live and work, including quite a few neighborhood locals who wanted to show their appreciation for the U District.

The U District Partnership is a group of organizations, volunteers, and sponsors working together to create lasting change in the community. For more information, call them at 206-547-4417.
